Our Founders
The Idaho Professional Roundtable was founded by Chris Sheetz and Tish Dahmen, two experienced East Idaho leaders in business development, communications, event management, and community engagement.
Together, they are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for professional learning, connection, and collaboration.

Meet The Founders
Chris Sheetz
Chris Sheetz is a dynamic consultant, community advocate, and the owner of Peak Plus Partners, bringing nearly 40 years of sales and marketing expertise to every project she leads.
Throughout her career, Chris has built a reputation for driving revenue, cultivating strategic partnerships, and delivering impactful community engagement initiatives that strengthen both businesses and the regions they serve.
With extensive experience in event management, fundraising, and stakeholder collaboration, Chris has successfully organized and supported large-scale events while fostering meaningful relationships across diverse sectors.
Her leadership style centers on connection—bringing together people, ideas, and organizations in ways that create measurable growth and lasting community impact. She is especially passionate about developing and managing recreational programs and community services, including initiatives supporting the North End Recreation District.
Chris’s dedication to regional promotion is reflected in her volunteer service with the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce and Yellowstone Teton Territory (YTT). She has also developed specialty magazines targeting niche audiences such as ATV riders and snowmobilers, inspiring outdoor enthusiasts to explore the beauty and adventure of East Idaho.
Her work has earned her numerous accolades, including the 2021 Best of the West Media Award and the Excellence in Service Award from the Greater Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce. These honors reflect not only her professional excellence but also her deep commitment to community advancement.
Chris believes wholeheartedly in the power of connection. As she often says, “Connecting people and businesses that might not otherwise have come together is rewarding. The fun is seeing it all work in community support and people just helping people.”
Her passion for fostering growth, championing collaboration, and strengthening regional identity continues to leave a lasting and meaningful impact across East Idaho.
Tish Dahmen
Tish Dahmen is an accomplished communications professional, organizational leader, and community advocate with a career rooted in storytelling, public engagement, and regional development.
A graduate of the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Tish began her career as editor of the Wasatch Wave in Heber City, Utah, where she developed her skills in writing, reporting, and community-centered communication.
She later served as Communications Manager for the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce, strengthening her expertise in media relations, business promotion, and stakeholder engagement.
After moving to Blackfoot, Tish served simultaneously as Executive Director of the Blackfoot Chamber of Commerce and the Idaho Potato Museum from 2012 to 2016.
Tish continued leading the Idaho Potato Museum through 2025, overseeing significant growth in attendance, financial stability, visitor experience, and organizational capacity.
During her tenure, she secured grant funding and spearheaded a complete exhibit renovation featuring interactive video experiences, expanded historical displays, and new educational presentations.
She also compiled and edited the museum cookbook, Tasty Taters, doubled the size of the gift shop, expanded its selection of customized merchandise, and launched the successful Potato Station Café.
These initiatives strengthened earned revenue while transforming the museum into a more engaging and memorable destination for visitors.
Her collaborative approach and attention to detail help turn ambitious ideas into well-organized initiatives that create lasting value for the people and communities they serve.
As co-founder of the Idaho Professional Roundtable, she brings thoughtful leadership, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to creating meaningful educational experiences that connect professionals and strengthen businesses and communities throughout Idaho.
